County
Louth
In mid-nineteenth century Ireland County Louth actually consisted of two administrative counties:
County Louth
and
Drogheda.
The County Borough of Drogheda was abolished by
the Local Government (Ireland) Act 1898. The borough, afterwards,
came under the administrative County of Louth.
