County Louth

Superintendent Registration District.

These districts are the areas used for the registration of births, marriages and deaths. They corresponded, up  to 1996,  with the Poor Law Union Areas.

In County Louth they are:
Dundalk (part also in County Armagh and Monaghan);
Ardee (part also in County Meath) and
Drogheda (part also in County Meath).
